So How Do You Upgrade Your Intuition?
No matter where you are on the following 10 Stages of Psychic Intuition Development, you CAN strengthen your intuitive abilities.
Strengthening your intuition is just like going to the gym. If you don’t work your muscles, they’ll atrophy and shrink. If you train your muscles, they’ll grow. Strengthening intuition is the same way! It takes effort to get in shape and then regular workouts to maintain.
Through my experience with developing my own psychic abilities and through helping my clients, I developed these 10 Stages of Psychic Intuition Development. See where you are on this list!
The 10 Phases of Intuition Development
1. Potentiality – the person is unaware of any sixth sense ability and relies on logic and reason.
2. Feeling – the person has hunches and goes with their gut. Answers are haphazard. They can confuse their own desires with what is actually their highest good.
3. Inspired – the person believes that any positive idea or solution is from their intuition. They are busy “doing good,” but not their highest good.
4. Initiated – the person starts to take an interest in esoteric subjects, such as life after death and/or psychic phenomena, even if it’s just watching a TV show.
5. Awakened – the person wakes up to their own inner knowing and has an average ability to call upon and use their intuition. They begin to actively develop their Spiritual Senses.*
6. Strengthening – the person begins to exercise their intuition like a muscle. They get to know their favorite ways of receiving intuitive information through their Spiritual Senses.*
7. Empowered – the person can tap into their intuition to bring forth aligned ideas and solutions to everyday problems, but they may lack the order and timing to the flow of information in order to properly implement. They start to fully use their Psychic Abilities.**
8. Discerning – the person can sort through many “good” choices and discern their highest good. They no longer seek for outside answers from others. They fully trust their intuition and have a reliable inner method to confirm it.
9. Enthusiastic – the person is often pleasantly surprised about how their highly developed Spiritual Senses* manifest. Others start to take notice of the person’s intuitive abilities and how “tuned in” and “spot on” they are.
10. Confident – the person is extremely confident in their highly developed Spiritual Senses.* They rarely question themselves and operate with low ego to maintain neutrality in accurately reading any situation.
*Spiritual Senses: Just like physical senses, we all have Spiritual Senses (also known as “Clairs”). We are born with these and we can develop them to make them stronger. There are 12 Clairs in total and the most well-known are: Clairvoyance, Clairaudience, Claircognizance and Clairsentience.
**Psychic Abilities: Precognition, psychokinesis, telepathy, channeling, prophecy, mediumship (communicating with the dead) and more are Psychic Abilities that you can learn and develop. They build upon your Spiritual Senses.
Anyone Can Upgrade Their Intuition to Stage 10
Personally, I upgraded my intuition from its default setting.
And I totally disproved this myth:
Myth: Some think that you’re either born psychic, or you’re not.
Truth: We’re ALL born with a sixth sense ability and you CAN learn and master it.
Despite what anyone may say, NO ONE is “born” at Stage 10.
Many intuitives, mediums and psychics perpetuate this myth that “you can’t learn to be psychic” because they’ve never known it to be otherwise—they always remember using their abilities since they were babies. They didn’t learn to shut down their intuitive abilities as children, like many of us did.
Other psychics, mediums and other intuitive practitioners may not know what it’s like to be a beginner, but I do! I also know what it takes to become highly advanced and “Confident.”
We’re ALL born with intuition and Spiritual Senses. It’s only a matter of how much we’ve strengthened those intuitive muscles. I fundamentally believe that anyone can learn these skills if they have a true desire and are willing to put in the effort.

Awakening My Intuition
When I was young, around 6 or 7 years old, I saw a dark spirit and it disturbed me so much that I learned to shut off my sixth sense. I literally, and figuratively, pulled the covers over my head.
My parents also raised me in a strict high-demand religion, where it is taught that only top male authorities can have powerful spiritual gifts (despite that the Bible says that Spiritual Gifts ARE available to anyone). Because of this, I believed that I couldn’t have prophetic or precognitive abilities. I also feared criticism— being perceived like I was trying to be above the religious leaders, or being misunderstood as a “soothsayer” or “fortune teller,” which the writers of the Bible describe as a no-no.
These beliefs blocked my spiritual gifts from unlocking earlier in life— and it also created many more problematic subconscious beliefs.
As I got older, I debunked many misconceptions about intuition and psychic abilities. Confronting these religious beliefs led to new understandings of how many spiritual gifts there are, and how differently they can be expressed (the Bible also confirms this, in case you were wondering). Up until my 30’s, I’d say I was dancing around Stages 4 or 5.
Through a natural curiosity about the spirit world, supernatural phenomena and accessing knowledge beyond what I already know, things, I strengthened my intuitive muscles and embraced my psychic mediumship abilities.
As I entered Stage 7, my intuition started to come online as I released blocks and fully accepted my abilities. As I became more open to receive and accept my inner knowing— and I cleared the false beliefs and fears— I was divinely guided on how to strengthen my intuition.
Then I began to write a book on intuition, The Intuition-Led Business, and explore my divine purpose and what business looked like for me in the future. I KNEW deep down that my professional clients could actually use this knowledge to grow their lives, relationships, finances and careers.
Now the spirit world is as real to me as the physical world. I can see it, hear it, and sense it. I have seen and heard things and then shared them with people and they sit in awe, and ask, “how in the world did you know that?” I cannot explain it. It just drops into my mind without any preceding thought and I just know it, without knowing how I know it. I’ve also helped clients heal from heartaches and emotional trauma by delivering messages that have helped them, with knowledge and vocabulary that weren’t my own. I’ve also helped my clients create massive financial results in their businesses by identifying large and small shifts in their products, services, marketing, sales and operations.
Even though I’m at Stage 10 now, I feel that there’s still room to grow! (It’s NOT a final destination.) My intuition is constantly expanding. And as I serve my clients to align to their genius and purpose, I gain additional capacity for psychic abilities to manifest in new ways. It’s so fun to experience!
For the record, I do NOT think these intuitive psychic abilities make me special. I realize they’re available to anyone who wishes to strengthen them. I used to think that people who could do these things were special or superhuman (which is not true). We can all develop them with effort and openness.

I used to be afraid of what I might see, or what I might learn. I don’t anymore. I’m glad to know new truths. If there’s something I need to know, I ask and I get the answers as quickly as I can handle them. It’s so much easier now than how I used to receive answers, which seemed to take longer and require more preparation and patience. As I’ve developed my abilities like a muscle, intuitive information comes more quickly and accurately. And if I’m using intuition like a GPS, I know that there’s more than one way to get to a destination— and of course, I take the fastest route.

One of the misconceptions about upgrading your intuition is that it takes so much time away from real life. Yes, I hired teachers and coaches. I read books. I attended workshops. I prayed and meditated (good ol’ fashioned ask and receive). I probably invested more than 10,000 hours of time and $175,000 over the years.
I could have taken a shortcut (had I known)… most of my intuition upgrades came when I cleared subconscious beliefs that kept me from fully unlocking and understanding my intuitive abilities. That's exactly why I've developed the Intuition Upgrade training, so that others can clear their subconscious beliefs and strengthen their intuitive superpowers more efficiently.

Deep down, many leaders have this fear of becoming too powerful and getting a huge ego. When it comes to intuition, they fear becoming a “psycho” when they become psychic. The 4 Steps to Upgrading Your Intuition
Recognition of Intuitive Information - For most people, intuition happens TO them — spontaneously (if they even recognize it). For these people, this can look like accidentally finding breadcrumbs and “signs”, but I’d like to teach you how to recognize the breadcrumbs and deliberately find the entire loaf of intuitive information.
Deliberately Accessing Intuitive Information - Most people don’t have a systematic process to receive intuitive information reliably and accurately. They also don’t realize that we each have a different “Intuition Type” based upon their personality, which means we all receive intuitive information differently. When these nuances are understood, you can receive an entire file folder of information in a “download” from the Universe, through your own unique wiring.
Interpretation of Intuitive Information - Whether it’s a breadcrumb or a download, the information needs to be unpacked and interpreted. There are specific tools for each “Intuition Type” to do this. Then, one may need to repeat Step 2 to verify and confirm the interpretation.
Acting on the Intuitive Information - The whole point is to receive divine directions via our Intuitive GPS, so that we can get from Point A to Point B faster and with more precision. Intuition without Action is “just wondering” — and Action without Intuition is aimless wandering!

What are Christie's top Spiritual Senses and Psychic Abilities?

My main Spiritual Senses are:
Clairvoyance - “Clear Seeing” in French. In my mind, I see pictures, metaphors, visions, dreams, symbols, colors, auras, spirits, scenarios and timelines playing out.
Clairaudience - “Clear Hearing” in French. I hear (physically or internally) sounds, music, words, song lyrics, ringing in ears, spirits talking, and other noises. In my ears, I can also feel sensations, vibrations, harmonics and dissonance.
Claircognizance - “Clear Knowing” in French. I can have an instant knowing, perceive others' thoughts and intentions, know when something is true or not, and know something before it happens or is spoken.
Clairempathy - “Clear Emotion” in French. I have a heightened ability to feel a person’s emotions by seeing or being near the person.
Clairsentience - “Clear Feeling” in French. I can have physical sensations (good or bad), which are tied to another's thoughts, emotions, dis-ease or injury.
Many of these abilities I can turn on and off, at will.
My main Psychic Abilities are:
Psychic - ability to see past, present and future timelines, including Precognition.
Mediumship - ability to communicate with other souls and beings.
Channeling - ability to use the voice (verbal or written) to communicate knowledge from higher realms.
Healing - ability to affect healing in the spiritual, emotional and mental bodies, and by extension the the physical body.
How did Christie know she has Psychic Abilities?
